The well-known cricketer from Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan, was born on March 24, 1987, in the district of Magura, in the country's southwest. He was up in a cricket-playing family; his uncle Akram Khan was a former captain of the Bangladesh cricket team, while his father Khondoker Masroor Reza was a domestic cricket player.

At a young age, Shakib became interested in cricket and began to play with a tennis ball on the streets of his city. He subsequently began training at a nearby cricket academy under the direction of his father and uncle. He rapidly established himself as a talented player and showed tremendous all-around potential.


Shakib made his cricketing debut for Bangladesh's U-19 team in 2004, and he later played for his nation in the U-19 World Cup in 2006. He was quickly promoted to the senior national squad as a result of being one of the standout performers in the competition.
